About the doctor
Dr. Melissa Amoroso
Dr. Melissa Amoroso earned her medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), one of Brazil's most prestigious private universities, and completed part of her medical training at the University of Porto, Portugal. She completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Mackenzie Hospital and a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at a recognized referral center for advanced gynecologic surgery and endometriosis treatment in Curitiba, Brazil.
Board Certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics by FEBRASGO — the Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Associations, the national authority for specialist certification — she is also certified in laser surgery and advanced technologies for female intimate health and aesthetic gynecology. She is the founder and medical director of Femi Saúde Clinic, a leading women's health center in Curitiba with a multidisciplinary team of 19 physicians, where approximately 40 labiaplasty procedures are performed each month — one of the most experienced centers for intimate surgery in the region.
Performing labiaplasty since 2018, with more than 500 procedures personally performed, Dr. Amoroso is recognized for her expertise in female intimate surgery and aesthetic gynecology — labiaplasty, clitoral hood reduction, laser treatments, vaginal rejuvenation, and intimate aesthetics.
